A Brief History of Biorhythms

Although some mainstream scientists regard biorhythm readings as pseudoscience, biorhythms are grounded in the fundamental principle that everything in nature exhibits periodic, rhythmic cycles. Consequently, it is logical to assume that humans also experience their own cyclical patterns.

The origins of biorhythms can be traced back to the early 20th century when the open-minded psychologist Dr. Herman Svoboda conducted observations of the periodicity of various subjects. Notably, he observed that newborn babies exhibit resistance to accepting food in cyclic patterns, marking the initial discovery. Subsequently, he expanded his research, leading to the identification of distinct 23 and 28-day cycles. His findings were published, along with guidelines for predicting critical days within these cycles.

Concurrently, in the 1920s, Alfred Teltscher, a teacher and engineer, observed a cyclic fluctuation in the intellectual capabilities of his students within a precisely defined 33-day cycle. Simultaneously, other scientists in the United States reported similar findings for the third, 33-day cycle. This convergence of evidence paved the way for the widespread acceptance of biorhythms. Today, numerous individuals derive significant benefits from following their biorhythm charts, which are accessible and straightforward to implement.
